Come and discover the tools and techniques of gilding leather, plates and backstocks, using cold, lampblack, film and gold, fillets, fleurons and palettes. The process can be applied to both bookbinding and leather goods. It can also be used on other media, such as paper or fabric.

The course begins with 1 h 30 to 2 h of theory, followed by a dozen hours of practice.

 

Introductory course of 14 h, over two days on Saturday and Sunday from 10 h to 13 h and from 14 h to 18 h, led in our workshop by Jean-Pierre. The course is aimed primarily at beginners, but can also be attended by those wishing to refresh their knowledge in the field. In order to work in the best possible conditions, this course can accommodate no more than 4 people.

Price: €280. All equipment is provided, so there's nothing to bring.
