Librairie-Galerie Emmanuel Fradois, located a few meters from Place Gambetta in the heart of the 20th arrondissement of Paris, has been specializing in the purchase, sale and appraisal of rare books, manuscripts, prints and photographs since 2012.

Our aim is to share our love of books, prints and art in general with our clients, whether they are knowledgeable collectors or simply curious.

Sales and expertise

We offer a carefully selected selection of rare and valuable works, from ancient manuscripts to historical photographs. But also, especially in our showcase, fine books and objets d'art in a price range starting from a few dozen Euros. Each item is authenticated and appraised, guaranteeing our clients the quality and originality of the works acquired.

 

Showroom

We don't just sell books. We also offer an exhibition space dedicated to displaying collections from our own holdings as well as works by contemporary artists. This space presents unique ensembles and promotes the dialog between books and the visual arts.

 

Bookbinding and Restoration Courses

We have set up a professional workshop in the heart of the Bookshop, where we offer weekly courses in bookbinding and restoration of books and graphic works. Designed for all levels, these courses allow everyone to learn the essential techniques for preserving and enhancing their works.

Occasional Courses

In addition to our regular courses, we also organize one-off introductory courses in gilding on leather, applicable to bookbinding and leather goods.

These courses offer a unique opportunity to explore these arts and techniques under the supervision of experienced professionals.
